Appellant was convicted for the felony offense of aggravated kidnapping. V.T.C.A. Penal Code, ? 20.04(a)(4). The jury assessed punishment at twenty-five years confinement in the Texas Department of Corrections. The Texarkana Court of Appeals affirmed his conviction in a published opinion. Carmona v. State, 670 S.W.2d 695 (Tex.App. - Texarkana 1984). We granted appellants petition for discretionary review to determine whether the court of appeals erred in three respects.
